The School District of Oconee County will operate on a 2-Hour Delay on Tuesday, February 3rd.

After members of district administration and the transportation team drove roads throughout the county this afternoon, we are confident that conditions will allow staff to arrive at campuses safely and allow us to safely transport students on buses on the MAJORITY OF ROUTES.   Out of an abundance of caution and to allow for more daylight before travel, we have chosen to go 2 hours late. 

All Buses with designated common pick-up locations will utilize those locations for Tuesday, February 3rd.  Parents on these routes received communication in December about pick-up locations and times or will receive a phone call from transportation with more information.

Please note the following:

• Students will report to school 2 hours later than normal. 

• Buses will pick up students 2 hours later than their regular schedule. 

• PIP students who attend morning sessions only may be affected by the delay. If your child is impacted, the PIP teacher will reach out to you directly.
